Character: Falco Lombardi
Brief history:
After dropping out of the Cornerian Flight Academy, Falco took to leading the Hot-Rodders. He currently works for (more or less) the mercenary group Star Fox.
Bio:
Age 19 (Just after the Lylat Wars), Falco’s life has been marked by constant rebellion. His reason for leaving the Academy was that it was too strict for him to endure, but even then he had exceptional talent. For a few years afterwards, he “borrowed” aircraft for joyrides, honing his skills further, until he collected other delinquent followers to form the Hot-Rodders. The organization gained enough popularity through its Robin Hood-esque activity that he was asked by Fox to join the mercenary group Star Fox just before the Lylat Wars. Unable to turn down an adventure and facing tension with the gang (particularly Kat), he resigned his position and took Fox’s offer.
3-5 headcanons:
He’s committed to the his truth; he’s willing to go solo if his allies may get in his way. Falco believes he can only improve if he pushes himself too hard, which is why he’ll take on an enemy (or enemies) while at a disadvantage or make close calls while flying. While being a bird, he actually can’t fly on his own; he does, however, have a knack for aerial combat and maneuverability, able to easily change the direction he falls or jumps with his wing-like arms. While he has a strong sense of justice, he does believe there’s nothing wrong in breaking a few rules in order to accomplish his goals; it doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a conscious when it comes to breaking the rules.
Sample roleplay:
“Ya know I don’t have the patience to wait for ya to come up here!” Falco sneered from his perch on the shelves. Three thugs at once in a bar like this wasn’t uncommon, but armed thugs were. He reached for his own blaster out of instinct but forgot he left it on the table across the room.

This is crazy… just the way I like it!

And just like that, he leaped from his perch and dove into the midst of his attackers calling out “Here I come, prey!” They readied their weapons, but Falco fell much faster. Landing a split-kick on the faces of two of his enemies, he used the face of the third thug as a spring board to launch him towards his blaster. Closer… closer…!

“None of you bozos make a move and I won’t make Swiss cheese outa you.” He had his blaster pointed at them before they could recover from his assault. From a distance it was hard to tell, but he was still shaking from the encounter.

Katt Monroe is open on our character list.

Yep.

So here’s some news

You know that one birdbrain? Falco Lombardi? Well, his spot on the character list just opened up. So if anyone’s feeling particularly rude and sarcastic, and just that little bit enthused about the character, why not give it a shot?

Just check out the blog (yes, this one), and read up on the rules and stuff. Hope to see a Falco soon!

Fay Application

Character: Fay

Brief history: Though she worked with the Star Fox team for a short time, she left along with Miyu, though she still considers the team personal friends. Since then, most of her work has consisted of bodyguard and escort jobs, which are typically less exciting, bar the occasional bold pirate or thief. Though, she honestly doesn’t mind the peace. She’s still very close to Miyu, of course, and is always ready to take on another job with her if she wants the extra hands.

Bio: Fay is a pure-white collie with bright blue eyes, and is rarely (if ever) seen without her trademark red bow. She’s a cheerful, positive person - even in hard and/or dangerous times, she does her best to keep smiling, believing everything will turn out well in the end. This sort of outlook helps her get along with a great number of people. On the other hand, sometimes it can be hard to tell when she’s feeling upset or worried, as she’ll put on her smile even then.

3-5 headcanons (to help determine how well you “understand” the character):
- Fay’s bow was a gift from a friend she lost long ago; she constantly wears it, even in the cockpit, to always remember her by.

- In part because she has to dress a particular way while on the job, she has a wide variety of outfits to wear when off-duty; it’s rare to see her in the exact same clothes twice.

- Fay’s father is an officer in the Cornerian military, and she went to military school mostly to please him. Though, that pleasure fell through when she met Miyu and began a more mercenary life.

- Fay keeps a small home back on Corneria, though she rarely finds time to stay there lately.

Sample roleplay: Fay hummed a quiet little tune to herself as she rolled her Arwing casually to one side. She was on a mission, of course, but it was a small one. She was escorting a small freighter with supplies for a military base on Fachina, though no one was strictly expecting anything to happen. Still, these supplies were needed there, so no one was willing to take any chances. And even though she was calm, Fay’s eyes kept glancing over the radar, and back out into the inky space around them. No chances.

Suddenly, her radar gave a small ping. Three objects were being picked up. More importantly, they were moving straight towards the freighter - and fast! Kicking into gear, Fay quickly put herself between the freighter and the approaching ships, getting her first good look at them. Three small fighters - a raiding group. Markings painted on the ships openly declared them pirates. They didn’t seem to be treating the lone escort as much of a threat, either - and that was their mistake. As they closed the gap between them, Fay quickly opened fire, striking the first blow against the lead ship. Its left wing was torn off, and it quickly fell back, putting its friends between them, as the other two ships began firing back. The battle for the freighter had begun.

Fay gripped her helm with determination, and charged in.

Seems pretty alright. Just make the blog and send the URL in when you’re done, then you can get started.

Slippy App.

Name: Slippy Toad

Bio: Slippy is a green frog with his signature wear of a red and white cap. He is small and not really up to the physical standards like the other Star Fox members, but even with this minor set back he fights. Slippy designs the team’s weaponry, down to the Arwing, Landmaster, and Submarine. He tends to get himself in trouble as he is not the best Arwing pilot, but he is an amazing Landmaster driver.

History: Slippy had trained with Fox and still works with him and the Star Fox Team. They are also childhood friends. With the help of his father he was able to upgrade many weapons to make the team stronger than ever. He’s very cocky about being on the team, but that doesn’t stop him from trying even harder. He’s usually fixing something or coming up with new technology.

Headcanons:

(1): He is extremely cocky about himself, even though Fox is usually the one who has to save him from enemies.

(2): He can fix anything as if it was meant for kids.

(3): Other people find him annoying, especially Falco but he doesn’t seem to be that effected by it and continues on with life like nothing happened.

Sample RP:

With Fox getting closer to the boss at the end, Slippy tries to push forward on his own to prove he is just as a good of a pilot as the others. Even with the high hopes of not getting himself in danger, but actually rescuing his best friend Fox from an enemy surprise attack. “Come on! I’m not afraid of a few bad guys!” As soon as the major enemy of this mission appears, he begins to hesitate and stay back. He thinks once more and gathers courage to get close enough to analyze the strength of the shield in order to help the team out. “At least”, he thought to himself as he flew around the enemy to get a better range of it, “I can help out in other ways too.”

Oh dear I hope the RP portion is okay!

Yep, everything seems to be in order. I don’t mean to uh insult you or anything by putting this out there, but Slippy didn’t design the Arwing. I have no clue as to whether he had anything to do with the Landmaster or the Blue Marine, but I think the Arwing is supposed to be a prototype, or just a really good model that they bought. It all depends. JHKGJkajh. It just seemed relevant aaaaa.

Anyhow, yeah, all good. Just send in the URL when the blog is made.

Good night, sweet prince.

Our resident Slippy has dropped from the group, so I felt it prudent to mention that the spot is now open. Trying to be more organized haha.

Umm. RIP Slippy :(
