Character: Falco Lombardi
Brief history: After dropping out of the Cornerian Flight Academy, Falco took to leading the Hot-Rodders. He currently works for (more or less) the mercenary group Star Fox.
Bio: Age 19 (Just after the Lylat Wars), Falco’s life has been marked by constant rebellion. His reason for leaving the Academy was that it was too strict for him to endure, but even then he had exceptional talent. For a few years afterwards, he “borrowed” aircraft for joyrides, honing his skills further, until he collected other delinquent followers to form the Hot-Rodders. The organization gained enough popularity through its Robin Hood-esque activity that he was asked by Fox to join the mercenary group Star Fox just before the Lylat Wars. Unable to turn down an adventure and facing tension with the gang (particularly Kat), he resigned his position and took Fox’s offer.
3-5 headcanons: He’s committed tothehis truth; he’s willing to go solo if his allies may get in his way. Falco believes he can only improve if he pushes himself too hard, which is why he’ll take on an enemy (or enemies) while at a disadvantage or make close calls while flying. While being a bird, he actually can’t fly on his own; he does, however, have a knack for aerial combat and maneuverability, able to easily change the direction he falls or jumps with his wing-like arms. While he has a strong sense of justice, he does believe there’s nothing wrong in breaking a few rules in order to accomplish his goals; it doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a conscious when it comes to breaking the rules.
Sample roleplay:“Ya know I don’t have the patience to wait for ya to come up here!” Falco sneered from his perch on the shelves. Three thugs at once in a bar like this wasn’t uncommon, but armed thugs were. He reached for his own blaster out of instinct but forgot he left it on the table across the room. This is crazy… just the way I like it!
And just like that, he leaped from his perch and dove into the midst of his attackers calling out “Here I come, prey!” They readied their weapons, but Falco fell much faster. Landing a split-kick on the faces of two of his enemies, he used the face of the third thug as a spring board to launch him towards his blaster. Closer… closer…!
“None of you bozos make a move and I won’t make Swiss cheese outa you.” He had his blaster pointed at them before they could recover from his assault. From a distance it was hard to tell, but he was still shaking from the encounter.
